Software developers will remain essential, according to the latest job projections. This well-paying profession will continue to thrive even in the era of artificial intelligence.

On Thursday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released employment projections for 2024 to 2034. Business Insider examined these findings to determine which high-paying jobs are expected to experience significant growth.

For our analysis, we calculated the geometric mean of occupations with a median annual wage of at least $75,000 in 2024 and projected employment growth over the next decade, then ranked them accordingly. We excluded general job categories.

The results below show each occupation's projected job growth from 2024 to 2034, median annual wage in 2024, and typical education requirements.
